Our Mission & Vision
Help babies to swim by empowering parents to teach — so everyone grows up able and confident in water. Establish at least 200 indoor heated pools to provide swimming lessons for 100,000 children per year by 2030.
Our Core Values
Leading with kindness to create a nurturing environment and a school of happiness, going beyond just teaching skills to inspire smiles and mutual respect.
The dedication to steady progress, prioritizing safety, and relentlessly pursuing excellence in everything you do.
Thinking outside the box to keep classes engaging, fun, and adaptable to ensure every single student thrives.
Empowering students to step out of their comfort zones—whether it is overcoming a basic fear of water or eventually swimming in the open sea with giant marine life.
Fostering a welcoming community among staff, parents, and students, and striving to inspire other swim schools to enrich the broader landscape of aquatic education.

OUR APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY
We are committed to providing comfortable, controlled water conditions through environmentally-conscious practices.
Water Consumption
Run on excellent salt chlorination and combined with a UV filter, bacteria and other by-products are safely eliminated – keeping our pools at the highest standards of hygiene and comfort.
By reducing the need to drain our pools and fill them up again, this unconventional method saves thousands of litres of water.
Renewable Energy
All our Happy Fish locations run on renewable energy for our daily operations. A good example would be our heat pumps also serving as our air-conditioners!
Heat pumps make our pool waters warm and comfortable. In doing so, they release cold air into the surroundings – allowing us to make do with a fewer number of air conditioners, and reducing our consumption of electricity.
Happy Fish is an award-winning swim school
Honoured across Singapore and Malaysia by parents and industry bodies for the way we teach babies, toddlers and children to swim.

How It Began
Happy Fish began in 2007 as a simple promise from parent to child. Founders Jay, Kay, and Jacqueline saw what research — and real life — kept showing them: early swim education nurtures motor coordination, sharpens focus, and builds calm, courageous little hearts.
Like many parents, they also worried about unpredictable weather, crowded pools, and water cleanliness. So they created the kind of place they wanted for their own families: an indoor, temperature-controlled, meticulously maintained swim home. Their first pool was lovingly dedicated to Jay’s firstborn, Laura — a reminder that every decision should feel right for someone’s child, because it is.
From those early lessons grew a community. Our pools are designed especially for babies and young children, with warm water, gentle acoustics, and cosy changing spaces that make transitions easier for tiny bodies (and for parents with full hands). Our class sizes stay small so coaches can notice the little things — the brave breath, the careful kick, the proud “I did it!” — and celebrate progress at each child’s pace.
Our coaches are more than instructors. They’re encouragers, safety guardians, and partners to parents. We teach playfully and purposefully: games that build skills, routines that build confidence, and clear safety habits that become second nature. Parents are always welcome in the journey — learning how to hold, cue, and cheer — because the most powerful teacher a child will ever have is you.
Over the years, Happy Fish has grown, but our heart hasn’t changed. We still design every class as if Laura were swimming in it. We still obsess over water quality, cleanliness, and consistency so you can relax and enjoy precious time together. We still believe that learning to move confidently in water helps children move more confidently in life.
Our dream is simple: a region where every child grows up water-safe and water-joyful, and every parent feels supported from the very first lesson. Little moments add up — a kick, a glide, a giggle — and suddenly your child is doing big things you didn’t know were possible.
Come begin your family’s water journey with us. Little Ripples, Big Dreams — one loving lesson at a time.
